Automated Shopping Lists

Your Shopping List items are automatically pulled from a range of dates on your planner. The date range defaults to the next 7 days, but you can easily change it to create a Shopping List for the next day, week or even the whole month!

Manage Grocery Categories

Customizable Grocery Categories
Easily rename, delete and reorder your grocery categories to set up your Shopping List exactly like your favorite grocery store's aisles.

Group Items by Grocery Categories
Identical ingredients are automatically combined. Because recipes tend to use different variations for the same ingredients (i.e. shredded cheese and shredded cheddar cheese), you can edit individual items to match and allow the system to save these changes across all associated recipes so that they'll be automatically combined on future Shopping Lists.

Adding, Editing & Deleting Items

Add Additional Items
Add additional items to your Shopping List, even if they are not on your meal plan.

Add New Shopping List Items

Edit the Items on Your List
Ingredients on your Shopping List are categorized by the grocery store categories you selected when adding each recipe. Update item titles and categories by clicking on the edit button next to each ingredient. Any changes will automatically update the associated recipes.

Add Notes to Your Shopping List Items
Add notes to each item on your Shopping List such as your preferred brand, possible substitutions, coupon requirements, etc. Notes are visible below each item in your online and printed Shopping Lists.

Remove Items You Don't Need
Temporarily remove ingredients from your Shopping List by checking each item and clicking the Don't Need button. This will put the selected items in the Pantry Inventory so that they will not be included when you share or print your Shopping List. When an item is listed in your Pantry Inventory, it can be moved back to your Shopping List at any point, or you can permanently delete them to remove them from your list entirely.

Even More Features

Create Multiple Store Lists
Use the Store Feature to create individual Shopping Lists for each of your favorite grocery stores. View all of the items on all of your Shopping Lists or view and print each individual list.

Share & Print Your Shopping List
Use the Share List button to bring up a simple text format of your Shopping List that you can copy and paste to send in an email or other document or print your Shopping List using the Print List button. Printed Shopping Lists include a recipe key to help with substitutions at the grocery store.
